Your VPA will do everything that a 'real' PA would do, but without the costs, the space, the equipment and the hassle - all the usual office facilities like word processing (from notes or audio) and spreadsheets, as well as sending and receiving email and faxes; taking messages; organising meetings, conferences, business trips; internet research; documentation; and so on. Because your VPA is virtual, there is no need to provide office space, PAYE, telephones, computers etc. You communicate with your VPA using a combination of telephone and email, or any other method that suits you. Like our project management services, the cost of your VPA may be considered part of the capital cost of a new project and therefore depreciated over a number of years, rather than being a burden on your annual operating costs.
